What a fantastic product, simply sensational! Our large patio is the also the concrete ceiling for a unit which sits below our main residence. We had spent much more than $10K trying to reduce the impact noise travelling from the patio to the unit. The movement of chairs was very much the main problem. We fitted under tile acoustic membranes, installed furring channels with acoustic mounts and replaced the unit ceiling with commercial grade Soundchek Gyprock (13mm). We were disappointed in result as the scraping of chairs was still, clearly, an issue for those in the unit below. We then decided to explore if changing the chairs from metal frame to wood frames might help. In this process we stumbled across the Hybrid Silicone Chair Tips and decided to see if they might help reduce the noise transference. We fitted the 10 chairs with the chair tips and were absolutely thrilled as they eliminated ALL of the noise transference created by the movement of the chairs!! My only regret is that we didn't find this solution earlier. This product is great value and certainly the job for us! Simply put, the tips are a fantastic and robust product - Thankyou!
